About 1in100
1in100 is a greeting card company with a twist. Every 1 in 100 cards Activated for FREE wins the recipient £100. You get a beautiful card at a fair price (£2.50), the person you send it to has a FREE entry into a draw with a real chance of winning, and 10% of the profits before tax go to good causes. Everyone wins something.
We are a UK-registered business (CardOwl Limited) operating as 1in100.win under full compliance with UK regulations. Winners are chosen at random and fully auditable. We announce winners publicly. You can see our full list of winners on the Winners page.
10% of our net profit before tax will go to a charity chosen by our community. As a new business, we have to get into profit first.. But we'll keep you all informed every step of the way.
We are a small team of three. Richard, Tom and Patryk. A father and son duo with decades of greetings industry experience between them, plus a tech wizard keeping everything running. You can read more on our Our Mission page.
Prizes & Winning
It is simple: for every 100 cards activated, one of the recipients wins £100. The prize goes to the recipient of the card which is the person you sent it to. So you are not just sending a card, you are gifting them a FREE activation into a 1 in 100 chance to win draw with a prize of £100.
Winners are selected using a verified random draw. First we assign a random number to each card and then conduct the draw in a fully audited and transparent manner. Draws only happen when 100 cards have been activated.You can view the draw results and all winners on our public Winners page.
If the card you received is picked as the winning card, you will receive an email notification directly from us. Simply follow the link and your prize will be sent to you. Payments are made within 5 working days through PayPal.
The prize always goes to the recipient! The person the card is addressed to and delivered to, provided they activate their card. You are giving someone a gift with a bonus FREE activation into a 1 in 100 chance to win draw with a prize of £100.

Cards & Ordering
£2.50 per card, which includes a unique QR code enabling your recipient to activate their entry into the prize draw. Shipping is via Royal Mail 1st Class and is charged separately at a flat rate of £1.80, the current cost of a first class stamp.
Yes! Several of our card designs support custom photo uploads. When you choose one of these designs, you will be prompted to upload your image. We will print it and send it out looking great.
Absolutely, every card order requires a personalised message that we print inside the card. You will enter your message during the personalisation process and you can pick a font, colour and size to make it just right. It is a great way to add a special touch to your card and make it truly unique.
We currently offer Birthday Cards, Anniversary Cards, and Mother’s Day Cards, Father’s Day Cards, New Baby Cards, and more, with more occasions and cards being added regularly. Check the Browse Cards page for what is available right now.
No, currently we only offer one card at a time. To send multiple cards, you will need to place separate orders for each card. Each card gets its own unique number and its own entry into the next prize draw.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch all orders the same day if ordered before 15:00hrs on working days. Standard delivery then takes 1-3 working days according to the Royal Mail. However, some areas appear to take longer. We advise allowing extra time especially if ordering something remote. We will send you a dispatch confirmation when its left the factory.
We only deliver to UK addresses. This is due to the nature of the product. We are looking at expanding, however, we want to get the business rolling first. Drop us a message on the Contact page if you would like service in your area.
That is on us, please get in touch via the Contact page with your order number and a photo of the damage, and we will send a replacement straight out to you. No fuss.
Yes, that is actually the whole idea! During the purchase process, you will enter the recipient’s address as the shipping address, and the card goes straight to them. Perfect for when you can’t be there in person.
Not currently, but we are looking at adding this option in the future. If you want to receive a card yourself, you can enter your own address as the shipping address during checkout. Just remember that the prize goes to the recipient of the card, so if you send it to yourself, you are also the recipient and therefore eligible to win. One thing to keep in mind, the card won't be shipped with an extra envolpe. So if you plan to hand it over in person.. You'll need to purchase an envelope from a relevant store and pop it in yourself.
My Account
Yes, you will need to create a free account to place an order. This lets us keep track of your orders, notify you if a card you sent wins, and manage your saved addresses.
Head to the Login page and click “Forgot password?”. We will send a reset link to your registered email address.
You can view, edit and delete all your saved addresses in the Address Book section of your account. Changes are instant, no need to re-enter addresses from scratch when someone moves.
Log in and head to My Orders. You will see every order you have placed, with status, date, and a link to full order details.
We print and dispatch orders quickly, so we can only cancel or amend an order if it has not gone to print yet. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order reference if you need to make a change.
